Case study

Oftsy RMS

A restaurant management system in two halves: a native app and the web back office.

Live2026Soloproduct

One product, two surfaces. The floor-facing side is an Expo application with a bottom tab bar, a drawer, haptics on every destructive action and a secure store for the session; the back office is a Next.js application with the reports, the management tables and the configuration. The server is Postgres reached through Drizzle with Neon for the serverless path, and passwords are hashed with argon2 rather than bcrypt because it is the better primitive and the cost was negligible. The web side is guarded with zod at every boundary, because a restaurant management system that accepts a bad request shape is a restaurant management system that eventually accepts a bad price.
